9. Vote of Thanks
1. The President Dr.H.M.Desai sir called the meeting to order and welcome the members present in the meeting. Total of 175 members were present in the meeting.
2. The minutes of 23rd AGM was read by Dr.P.A.Joshi secretary of DDUAA.The same was confirmed as there were no comments from any members.
3. Annual report of the activities carried out by the association and donation received from alumni during year was presented by Prof.M.P.Shah.The same was approved and adopted.
4 . The audited account of DDUAA for year 2021-22 was presents by treasurer of DDUAA Prof. M.P.Shah. The same was accepted without any comments.
5 . As a regular practice, DDUAA received nomination for outstanding alumni awards for current year as well. The application received was both from various department and individual also. Total 8 applications were received. Based on their professional achievements and their contribution to society and universities, President of DDUAA, Dr.H.M.Desai sir selected 4 recipients for outstanding alumni awards.

The president DDUAA presented plagues and certificates to all the recipients of outstanding aluminous awards.
All the recipients of awards have shared their feeling towards the almamter and shown keen interest in helping the University for the Betterment of students.
6. The cheques of Rs.25000/- to the students of the faculty of technology were distributed to 8 students under “Pradeep and Daksha Dalal Family Endowment Scholarship.
7. President of DDUAA, proposed to improve infrastructure of FoT.In that direction, it was proposed to install solar roof top on the FoT Building. President proposed to contribute Rs.50Lakh for solar roof top for FoT from DDUAA.After discussion and deliberation it was unanimously resolved, that an amount of Rs.50 lakh be contributed to DDU for solar Roof Top for Faculty of Technology.
8. Contribution of Rs.5 Lakh was declared by Dr.Jaimin Vasa for the solar power plant. Dr.Palak sheth donated Rs.5 lakh, Dr.P.A.Joshi gave contribution of Rs.1 Lakh and Mr.Maheshwami gave Rs.5000/- .The DDUAA accepted and thanked all donators.
9. As there was no other business, the president announced end of the meeting with vote of thanks Mr.Akashy Parikh proposed vote of thanks.
