The Grand Reunion 2025 and Jubilee Celebration was held on 14th December 2025 at DDU by the DDU Alumni Association. If you missed the opportunity to enjoy yourself in person, this report will guide you through the day. Hopefully, you will envision what other batches could do with enough enthusiasm.
Breakfast included Upama and Gota, and tea-coffee. ☕ Spouses accompanying some friends enjoyed the event as much as the alumni. The joy of meeting old friends was obvious on each face.

Attendees visited the Dr. N D Desai Hospital, a 700-bed facility offering free services, including dialysis and complex surgeries. The hospital treats over 800 outpatients daily and has earned a reputation leading to an increase in master's program seats.

The sumptuous lunch consisted of Jalebi & Undhiyu, Dudh pak, Kalakand Vedhami, Puri, Lilva ni Kachori, Mixed Vegetable, Kashmiri Dum Aalu, Daal- Rice,etc. from the famous Caterer of Vadodara, Varsha Exotic.
A State of Art Computer Centre has been established for the Department of Chemical Engineering by the Class of 1975 Chem at an estimated cost of Rs. 51 lakhs. Shree Harshad K Patel has committed Rs 25 lakh. The Centre was inaugurated by the alumni of 1975. The centre has capacity for 36 students and is supposed to have sophisticated software for a variety of simulation and optimization exercise.
The Alumni of 1975 graduates of the Department of Chemical Engineering have proposed to collect contributions for State of Art Computer Centre in the department. The following table lists the donors who donated Rs.1 L and above.
